Hyundai i10 Prices in Ireland 2026: Cheap to Buy Still Needs a Price Check

An i10 can be a very deliberate purchase: a compact car that fits a particular routine. The mistake is assuming its size settles the price question. An automatic, a different equipment level or a better-documented example may sit in a different part of the used market.

We checked live Irish listings on 21 September 2026 for 2018, 2020 and 2022 Hyundai i10 adverts. After filtering, this petrol snapshot contains 50 adverts across the three selected years. The largest group is 2018: 26 adverts, an average asking price of €9,250 and a median of €9,350. These are advertised prices, not completed sales or a personalised valuation.

Republic of Ireland petrol asking prices. Exact-year searches; no target-mileage filter. Prices rounded to €50 and median mileage to 1,000 km. Middle 50% means the lower-to-upper quartile, not the cheapest-to-dearest range. Different trims, bodies and mileages may be mixed.

Compare the version you will drive

Choose the gearbox before comparing adverts. Then look at engine description, equipment and mileage. If this will be a first car, obtain an insurance quote for the actual vehicle before agreeing the purchase. A small engine or familiar model name is not a personal insurance quote.

What changes between the selected years?

The 2022 median is €6,550 higher than the 2018 median in this snapshot. Their typical advertised mileages are approximately 35,000 km and 95,000 km respectively. That is a comparison of different cars advertised today. It is not a depreciation measurement, an upgrade quote or proof that the year alone creates the price gap. The middle-price bands for those two groups do not overlap in this sample, but the full sets of adverts can still contain exceptions.

How wide is the price spread?

Within the 2018 group, the middle half of asking prices runs from €7,950 to €10,350. That is a spread of about €2,400 before considering the highest and lowest quarter of adverts. The average uses every eligible price; the median is the middle observation and is less sensitive to a few unusually expensive cars. Neither measure adjusts this table to your mileage or exact specification.

Keep the first-year budget realistic

An asking-price saving can disappear into identifiable preparation. Check tyres, service evidence and any inspection findings, then compare the cars on a consistent basis. Sellers should show the cabin and body carefully; close-up photographs of ordinary wear are more useful than declaring a used small car flawless.

What is actually in the sample?

2018: 26 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 26 petrol; seller labels: 16 dealer, 10 private.

2020: 11 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 11 petrol; seller labels: 6 dealer, 5 private.

2022: 13 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 13 petrol; seller labels: 13 dealer.

How we collected the figures

We fetched every available results page for each selected year and removed duplicate adverts, listings outside the Republic, missing or implausible price/mileage entries, and obvious parts, wanted or non-running adverts. This is an unweighted snapshot of eligible asking prices, with dealer and private adverts retained. Adverts and search filters can contain mistakes; the source links let you check what is available now.
