MINI Cooper Prices in Ireland 2026: Style Has a Price. Check the Exact Version.
A MINI can win a buyer over before the shortlist is properly defined. That makes the specification check especially useful. A Cooper search may combine different bodies and equipment, so do not let the shared name turn dissimilar cars into apparent bargains.
We checked live Irish listings on 21 September 2026 for 2016, 2018 and 2020 Mini Cooper adverts. After filtering, this petrol snapshot contains 48 adverts across the three selected years. The largest group is 2018: 22 adverts, an average asking price of €14,400 and a median of €13,750. These are advertised prices, not completed sales or a personalised valuation.

Republic of Ireland petrol asking prices. Exact-year searches; no target-mileage filter. Prices rounded to €50 and median mileage to 1,000 km. Middle 50% means the lower-to-upper quartile, not the cheapest-to-dearest range. Different trims, bodies and mileages may be mixed.
Fix the body and gearbox first
Decide which doors, roof and seating arrangement you need, then check the actual vehicle description. Compare engine, gearbox and equipment on that basis. A convertible or another body derivative should not become the direct pricing benchmark for a hatchback merely because both adverts contain Cooper.
What changes between the selected years?
The 2020 median is €9,500 higher than the 2016 median in this snapshot. Their typical advertised mileages are approximately 64,000 km and 95,000 km respectively. That is a comparison of different cars advertised today. It is not a depreciation measurement, an upgrade quote or proof that the year alone creates the price gap. The middle-price bands for those two groups do not overlap in this sample, but the full sets of adverts can still contain exceptions.
How wide is the price spread?
Within the 2018 group, the middle half of asking prices runs from €12,550 to €16,350. That is a spread of about €3,800 before considering the highest and lowest quarter of adverts. The average uses every eligible price; the median is the middle observation and is less sensitive to a few unusually expensive cars. Neither measure adjusts this table to your mileage or exact specification.
Separate personal taste from recoverable value
A colour or optional feature may be worth extra to you without adding the same amount for every future buyer. If selling, describe desirable equipment accurately and show condition and records. If buying, agree what you personally value, then use comparable asking prices to keep that preference within a deliberate budget.

How we collected the figures
We fetched every available results page for each selected year and removed duplicate adverts, listings outside the Republic, missing or implausible price/mileage entries, and obvious parts, wanted or non-running adverts. This is an unweighted snapshot of eligible asking prices, with dealer and private adverts retained. Adverts and search filters can contain mistakes; the source links let you check what is available now.
