Peugeot 3008 Prices in Ireland 2026: Diesel Asking Prices and the Right Questions
A 3008 price comparison should keep diesel adverts separate from different powertrains and account for the exact vehicle history. Similar-looking cars can represent different ownership and maintenance propositions.
This September 2026 guide uses current Irish advertised listings gathered through CarValue.ie’s market-search and comparison engine. The largest usable pricing group here is 2020, with 13 adverts and a median asking price of €19,950. Its middle half runs from €18,500 to €20,995. The 2024 and 2020 medians differ by €14,000. That is a difference between today’s advertised cohorts, not measured depreciation of one car; mileage, engine, specification and seller mix can also differ.

Use the exact engine and documented history
Record engine capacity, output, gearbox and fuel from the actual car. Ask for service evidence and use the manufacturer or a qualified specialist to confirm which maintenance applies to that exact engine and year. Do not infer completed maintenance from a generic description such as 'well looked after'.
For buyers: compare the complete car
If a car is cheaper than close equivalents, ask what explains the difference and obtain an independent assessment of condition. Compare actual repair or service quotes with the price gap. The valuation itself cannot diagnose the engine or verify that prescribed work was completed.
For sellers: support the asking price
List the specification accurately and provide dated evidence for significant work. Clear records can answer buyer concerns more effectively than unsupported reliability claims. Use comparable diesel adverts rather than borrowing prices from a different powertrain.
How to use these figures for your own car
The reference mileage is the input used for each research case, not the exact mileage of every advert. The selected band can widen where matches are sparse. Engine and fuel filters also depend on the information in the listings; the notes above show the observed engine mix where available.
The middle 50% is the range from the lower to the upper quartile of the selected asking prices. It is neither the full cheapest-to-dearest range nor a prediction interval for a sale. A buyer’s negotiated amount and a dealer’s trade-in offer can differ from these advertised numbers.
Use the guide to establish the right comparison group, then check current evidence for your actual mileage and specification. A CarValue.ie report shows the listings behind its estimate; an inspection and your car’s records answer the condition questions that listing data cannot.
