Suzuki Vitara Prices in Ireland 2026: The Smaller-SUV Price Check
A Vitara can appeal to someone who wants a manageable SUV rather than the largest one the budget will reach. The asking-price comparison becomes more useful when the drivetrain and gearbox are fixed before the shortlist grows.
We checked live Irish listings on 21 September 2026 for 2018, 2020 and 2022 Suzuki Vitara adverts. After filtering, this petrol snapshot contains 21 adverts across the three selected years. The largest group is 2022: 13 adverts, an average asking price of €20,950 and a median of €21,000. These are advertised prices, not completed sales or a personalised valuation.

Republic of Ireland petrol asking prices. Exact-year searches; no target-mileage filter. Prices rounded to €50 and median mileage to 1,000 km. Middle 50% means the lower-to-upper quartile, not the cheapest-to-dearest range. Different trims, bodies and mileages may be mixed.
Verify driven wheels and the hybrid description
Check the actual configuration in the advert and documents. Do not infer four-wheel drive from the Vitara name alone. Petrol-based searches may also contain petrol-hybrid labels, shown in our sample notes. Compare equivalent versions before deciding that a cheaper car or a newer plate is the better deal.
What changes between the selected years?
The 2022 median is €6,050 higher than the 2018 median in this snapshot. Their typical advertised mileages are approximately 92,000 km and 133,000 km respectively. That is a comparison of different cars advertised today. It is not a depreciation measurement, an upgrade quote or proof that the year alone creates the price gap. The middle-price bands for those two groups do not overlap in this sample, but the full sets of adverts can still contain exceptions.
How wide is the price spread?
Within the 2022 group, the middle half of asking prices runs from €19,900 to €22,000. That is a spread of about €2,100 before considering the highest and lowest quarter of adverts. The average uses every eligible price; the median is the middle observation and is less sensitive to a few unusually expensive cars. Neither measure adjusts this table to your mileage or exact specification.
Pay for what you will use
Try access, rear-seat space and the boot, then decide which equipment matters to your own routine. Sellers should show the specification and condition clearly rather than relying on a general reputation. A practical, well-explained advert helps a buyer understand where the car belongs within the current price range.
What is actually in the sample?
2018: 3 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 3 petrol; seller labels: 3 dealer. Fewer than ten adverts makes this group especially sensitive to individual cars.
2020: 5 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 5 petrol; seller labels: 4 dealer, 1 private. Fewer than ten adverts makes this group especially sensitive to individual cars.
2022: 13 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 13 petrol; seller labels: 10 dealer, 3 private.
How we collected the figures
We fetched every available results page for each selected year and removed duplicate adverts, listings outside the Republic, missing or implausible price/mileage entries, and obvious parts, wanted or non-running adverts. This is an unweighted snapshot of eligible asking prices, with dealer and private adverts retained. Adverts and search filters can contain mistakes; the source links let you check what is available now.
