Toyota Auris Hybrid Prices in Ireland 2026: A Cheaper Route Into a Toyota Hybrid?
An older Auris can enter the conversation when a newer Corolla stretches the budget. The comparison should begin with the actual car and its records, not an assumption that every Toyota hybrid offers the same experience at a different price.
We checked live Irish listings on 21 September 2026 for 2015, 2017 and 2018 Toyota Auris adverts. After filtering, this non-plug-in hybrid snapshot contains 48 adverts across the three selected years. The largest group is 2018: 24 adverts, an average asking price of €15,450 and a median of €15,950. These are advertised prices, not completed sales or a personalised valuation.

Republic of Ireland non-plug-in hybrid asking prices. Exact-year searches; no target-mileage filter. Prices rounded to €50 and median mileage to 1,000 km. Middle 50% means the lower-to-upper quartile, not the cheapest-to-dearest range. Different trims, bodies and mileages may be mixed. Adverts labelled plug-in hybrid are excluded.
Match the body and the evidence
Separate hatchback and estate examples if you need one particular layout. Ask what maintenance and checks have been documented for the car, and verify any warranty claim in writing. A hybrid badge does not replace an inspection, and our advertised-price snapshot cannot establish battery condition.
What changes between the selected years?
The 2018 median is €1,000 higher than the 2017 median in this snapshot. Their typical advertised mileages are approximately 125,000 km and 85,000 km respectively. That is a comparison of different cars advertised today. It is not a depreciation measurement, an upgrade quote or proof that the year alone creates the price gap. The middle-price bands overlap, which is another reason to compare the individual specification and condition rather than drawing a hard line between the years.
How wide is the price spread?
Within the 2018 group, the middle half of asking prices runs from €14,500 to €16,450. That is a spread of about €1,950 before considering the highest and lowest quarter of adverts. The average uses every eligible price; the median is the middle observation and is less sensitive to a few unusually expensive cars. Neither measure adjusts this table to your mileage or exact specification.
Treat a thin year group honestly
Some older year-and-fuel searches can leave very few usable adverts after filtering. Where fewer than three remain, we publish no average or price band. Look at nearby years and individual comparable cars as context, but do not turn that sparse evidence into a precise number for your own Auris.
What is actually in the sample?
2015: only 1 eligible advert remained, so no average or numerical band is published. This is a limit of this search, not proof that suitable cars do not exist.
2017: 23 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 23 petrol hybrid; seller labels: 18 dealer, 5 private.
2018: 24 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 24 petrol hybrid; seller labels: 18 dealer, 6 private.
How we collected the figures
We fetched every available results page for each selected year and removed duplicate adverts, listings outside the Republic, missing or implausible price/mileage entries, and obvious parts, wanted or non-running adverts. This is an unweighted snapshot of eligible asking prices, with dealer and private adverts retained. Adverts and search filters can contain mistakes; the source links let you check what is available now.
