Ford Puma Prices in Ireland 2026: What Does a Smaller SUV Actually Cost?

The Puma sits in the awkward space between wanting a compact car and wanting a little more presence. A broad used search is helpful for setting a budget, but it needs another pass before you compare individual cars or decide what your own one should fetch.

We checked live Irish listings on 21 September 2026 for 2020, 2022 and 2024 Ford Puma adverts. After filtering, this mixed-powertrain snapshot contains 226 adverts across the three selected years. The largest group is 2024: 131 adverts, an average asking price of €24,900 and a median of €24,950. These are advertised prices, not completed sales or a personalised valuation.

Republic of Ireland mixed-powertrain asking prices. Exact-year searches; no target-mileage filter. Prices rounded to €50 and median mileage to 1,000 km. Middle 50% means the lower-to-upper quartile, not the cheapest-to-dearest range. Different trims, bodies and mileages may be mixed. Fuel types are mixed; check the breakdown before comparing years.

Separate the ordinary shortlist from special versions

This research begins without a fuel filter, and the observed fuel mix is listed below. Read the derivative and gearbox on each advert. If a performance-focused version appears, compare it with its own alternatives rather than using it to justify the asking price of an everyday Puma.

What changes between the selected years?

The 2024 median is €7,000 higher than the 2020 median in this snapshot. Their typical advertised mileages are approximately 32,000 km and 65,000 km respectively. That is a comparison of different cars advertised today. It is not a depreciation measurement, an upgrade quote or proof that the year alone creates the price gap. The middle-price bands for those two groups do not overlap in this sample, but the full sets of adverts can still contain exceptions.

How wide is the price spread?

Within the 2024 group, the middle half of asking prices runs from €23,600 to €25,950. That is a spread of about €2,350 before considering the highest and lowest quarter of adverts. The average uses every eligible price; the median is the middle observation and is less sensitive to a few unusually expensive cars. Neither measure adjusts this table to your mileage or exact specification.

Inspect the bits you will use

Check the boot arrangement, cabin storage and rear-seat access with your usual passengers or cargo in mind. A desirable-looking trim does not automatically solve those needs. If you are selling, show the equipment and everyday condition clearly enough that a buyer can place your car within the wider price range.

What is actually in the sample?

2020: 31 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 29 petrol hybrid, 2 petrol; seller labels: 30 dealer, 1 private.

2022: 64 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 53 petrol hybrid, 6 diesel, 5 petrol; seller labels: 61 dealer, 3 private.

2024: 131 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 85 petrol hybrid, 46 petrol; seller labels: 131 dealer.

How we collected the figures

We fetched every available results page for each selected year and removed duplicate adverts, listings outside the Republic, missing or implausible price/mileage entries, and obvious parts, wanted or non-running adverts. This is an unweighted snapshot of eligible asking prices, with dealer and private adverts retained. Adverts and search filters can contain mistakes; the source links let you check what is available now.
