Kia Stonic Prices in Ireland 2026: Crossover Looks, What Asking Price?

The Stonic can appeal when a conventional small hatchback feels a little ordinary. The extra appeal is a personal choice; the asking-price comparison should still be disciplined. Start by deciding which engine, gearbox and equipment you actually want.

We checked live Irish listings on 21 September 2026 for 2018, 2020 and 2022 Kia Stonic adverts. After filtering, this petrol snapshot contains 54 adverts across the three selected years. The largest group is 2020: 21 adverts, an average asking price of €15,450 and a median of €15,700. These are advertised prices, not completed sales or a personalised valuation.

Republic of Ireland petrol asking prices. Exact-year searches; no target-mileage filter. Prices rounded to €50 and median mileage to 1,000 km. Middle 50% means the lower-to-upper quartile, not the cheapest-to-dearest range. Different trims, bodies and mileages may be mixed.

Do not let trim names replace a comparison

Two Stonic adverts can look close in photographs while offering different equipment or use histories. Read the specification and compare like with like where possible. Our table groups eligible cars by year, so the wider range is an invitation to inspect those differences rather than a fixed price menu.

What changes between the selected years?

The 2022 median is €5,000 higher than the 2018 median in this snapshot. Their typical advertised mileages are approximately 66,000 km and 106,000 km respectively. That is a comparison of different cars advertised today. It is not a depreciation measurement, an upgrade quote or proof that the year alone creates the price gap. The middle-price bands for those two groups do not overlap in this sample, but the full sets of adverts can still contain exceptions.

How wide is the price spread?

Within the 2020 group, the middle half of asking prices runs from €13,950 to €15,950. That is a spread of about €2,000 before considering the highest and lowest quarter of adverts. The average uses every eligible price; the median is the middle observation and is less sensitive to a few unusually expensive cars. Neither measure adjusts this table to your mileage or exact specification.

Try the practical fit before the deal

Check rear-seat access, boot space and the driving position for yourself. If the car solves your daily needs, compare the cash price and documented condition with other suitable examples. Sellers should show those practical details and avoid relying on the crossover description to justify a premium on its own.

What is actually in the sample?

2018: 16 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 16 petrol; seller labels: 14 dealer, 2 private.

2020: 21 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 21 petrol; seller labels: 20 dealer, 1 private.

How we collected the figures

We fetched every available results page for each selected year and removed duplicate adverts, listings outside the Republic, missing or implausible price/mileage entries, and obvious parts, wanted or non-running adverts. This is an unweighted snapshot of eligible asking prices, with dealer and private adverts retained. Adverts and search filters can contain mistakes; the source links let you check what is available now.
