Peugeot 5008 Prices in Ireland 2026: Price the Space You Actually Need

A 5008 can reach the shortlist because the family needs more usable space. Before letting that need justify a bigger cheque, confirm exactly how the individual car is configured and what the space looks like with the seats you need in use.

We checked live Irish listings on 21 September 2026 for 2018, 2020 and 2022 Peugeot 5008 adverts. After filtering, this diesel snapshot contains 116 adverts across the three selected years. The largest group is 2018: 47 adverts, an average asking price of €17,750 and a median of €17,750. These are advertised prices, not completed sales or a personalised valuation.

Republic of Ireland diesel asking prices. Exact-year searches; no target-mileage filter. Prices rounded to €50 and median mileage to 1,000 km. Middle 50% means the lower-to-upper quartile, not the cheapest-to-dearest range. Different trims, bodies and mileages may be mixed.

Count seats and measure the compromise

Verify the seating arrangement, try access and inspect the load area in your intended configuration. Then compare the diesel engine and gearbox descriptions. The price table groups eligible cars by year, but it cannot decide whether a particular layout works for your passengers, luggage or daily driving.

What changes between the selected years?

The 2022 median is €12,250 higher than the 2018 median in this snapshot. Their typical advertised mileages are approximately 101,000 km and 151,000 km respectively. That is a comparison of different cars advertised today. It is not a depreciation measurement, an upgrade quote or proof that the year alone creates the price gap. The middle-price bands for those two groups do not overlap in this sample, but the full sets of adverts can still contain exceptions.

How wide is the price spread?

Within the 2018 group, the middle half of asking prices runs from €14,950 to €19,950. That is a spread of about €5,000 before considering the highest and lowest quarter of adverts. The average uses every eligible price; the median is the middle observation and is less sensitive to a few unusually expensive cars. Neither measure adjusts this table to your mileage or exact specification.

Prepare a proper viewing list

Ask for records, check the equipment and arrange an inspection of the actual car. If selling, photograph each seating row and show how the boot changes with the seats positioned differently. Answering those practical questions gives a buyer a stronger reason to view your car than repeating that it is ideal for families.

What is actually in the sample?

2018: 47 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 47 diesel; seller labels: 38 dealer, 9 private.

2020: 28 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 28 diesel; seller labels: 22 dealer, 6 private.

2022: 41 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 41 diesel; seller labels: 38 dealer, 3 private.

How we collected the figures

We fetched every available results page for each selected year and removed duplicate adverts, listings outside the Republic, missing or implausible price/mileage entries, and obvious parts, wanted or non-running adverts. This is an unweighted snapshot of eligible asking prices, with dealer and private adverts retained. Adverts and search filters can contain mistakes; the source links let you check what is available now.
