Renault Kadjar Prices in Ireland 2026: Put the Kadjar on the Family-SUV Shortlist
A Kadjar deserves a price comparison on its own merits. If you are also looking at a Qashqai or another family SUV, compare actual cars that meet the same needs rather than assuming one model name guarantees a cheaper deal.
We checked live Irish listings on 21 September 2026 for 2017, 2019 and 2021 Renault Kadjar adverts. After filtering, this diesel snapshot contains 108 adverts across the three selected years. The largest group is 2017: 53 adverts, an average asking price of €10,450 and a median of €9,950. These are advertised prices, not completed sales or a personalised valuation.

Republic of Ireland diesel asking prices. Exact-year searches; no target-mileage filter. Prices rounded to €50 and median mileage to 1,000 km. Middle 50% means the lower-to-upper quartile, not the cheapest-to-dearest range. Different trims, bodies and mileages may be mixed.
Keep the diesel comparison disciplined
Confirm the engine, gearbox and driven-wheel configuration of each shortlisted vehicle. Then compare mileage and documented condition. The price spread across a broad search is partly a description of different cars on offer; it should not be turned into a single exact valuation for every Kadjar of that year.
What changes between the selected years?
The 2021 median is €11,000 higher than the 2017 median in this snapshot. Their typical advertised mileages are approximately 106,000 km and 169,000 km respectively. That is a comparison of different cars advertised today. It is not a depreciation measurement, an upgrade quote or proof that the year alone creates the price gap. The middle-price bands for those two groups do not overlap in this sample, but the full sets of adverts can still contain exceptions.
How wide is the price spread?
Within the 2017 group, the middle half of asking prices runs from €8,950 to €12,200. That is a spread of about €3,250 before considering the highest and lowest quarter of adverts. The average uses every eligible price; the median is the middle observation and is less sensitive to a few unusually expensive cars. Neither measure adjusts this table to your mileage or exact specification.
Test the replacement car, not the idea of it
Check the seating, boot and driving position before negotiating. If trading in, compare the full cost to change across dealers rather than choosing the largest allowance for your old car. Sellers should make practical details visible in the advert so a buyer can tell whether this example belongs on their shortlist.
What is actually in the sample?
2017: 53 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 53 diesel; seller labels: 40 dealer, 13 private.
2019: 40 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 40 diesel; seller labels: 38 dealer, 2 private.
2021: 15 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 15 diesel; seller labels: 15 dealer.
How we collected the figures
We fetched every available results page for each selected year and removed duplicate adverts, listings outside the Republic, missing or implausible price/mileage entries, and obvious parts, wanted or non-running adverts. This is an unweighted snapshot of eligible asking prices, with dealer and private adverts retained. Adverts and search filters can contain mistakes; the source links let you check what is available now.
