SEAT Arona Prices in Ireland 2026: How Much for the Higher Driving Position?
An Arona can appeal when a conventional hatchback is nearly right but the driving position or access is not. Put that need to the test before assigning value to the crossover shape. Then compare the actual petrol-based specification and mileage.
We checked live Irish listings on 21 September 2026 for 2018, 2020 and 2022 SEAT Arona adverts. After filtering, this petrol snapshot contains 57 adverts across the three selected years. The largest group is 2020: 25 adverts, an average asking price of €16,700 and a median of €16,950. These are advertised prices, not completed sales or a personalised valuation.

Republic of Ireland petrol asking prices. Exact-year searches; no target-mileage filter. Prices rounded to €50 and median mileage to 1,000 km. Middle 50% means the lower-to-upper quartile, not the cheapest-to-dearest range. Different trims, bodies and mileages may be mixed.
Check the car behind the trim name
Gearbox, engine description and equipment should be written down for every shortlisted example. If the source labels some adverts petrol hybrid, the sample notes make that visible. Do not assume that a broad fuel filter or familiar model family has already made every car directly comparable.
What changes between the selected years?
The 2022 median is €5,000 higher than the 2018 median in this snapshot. Their typical advertised mileages are approximately 73,000 km and 84,000 km respectively. That is a comparison of different cars advertised today. It is not a depreciation measurement, an upgrade quote or proof that the year alone creates the price gap. The middle-price bands for those two groups do not overlap in this sample, but the full sets of adverts can still contain exceptions.
How wide is the price spread?
Within the 2020 group, the middle half of asking prices runs from €15,500 to €17,450. That is a spread of about €1,950 before considering the highest and lowest quarter of adverts. The average uses every eligible price; the median is the middle observation and is less sensitive to a few unusually expensive cars. Neither measure adjusts this table to your mileage or exact specification.
Make access part of the test drive
Get in and out, try the rear seats and check the load area. These practical details should support the purchase rather than being assumed from the body style. Sellers should show them clearly and justify any asking-price premium with verifiable condition, specification or documented preparation.
What is actually in the sample?
2018: 17 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 17 petrol; seller labels: 15 dealer, 2 private.
2020: 25 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 25 petrol; seller labels: 20 dealer, 5 private.
2022: 15 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 15 petrol; seller labels: 15 dealer.
How we collected the figures
We fetched every available results page for each selected year and removed duplicate adverts, listings outside the Republic, missing or implausible price/mileage entries, and obvious parts, wanted or non-running adverts. This is an unweighted snapshot of eligible asking prices, with dealer and private adverts retained. Adverts and search filters can contain mistakes; the source links let you check what is available now.
