SEAT Ibiza Prices in Ireland 2026: Another Badge on the Small-Car Shortlist

The Ibiza is worth comparing with the other small cars you would genuinely buy. The badge alone will not tell you whether it is the better deal. A useful comparison fixes the engine and gearbox, then looks at condition and equipment with the same discipline.

We checked live Irish listings on 21 September 2026 for 2018, 2020 and 2022 SEAT Ibiza adverts. After filtering, this petrol snapshot contains 22 adverts across the three selected years. The largest group is 2018: 8 adverts, an average asking price of €11,000 and a median of €11,000. These are advertised prices, not completed sales or a personalised valuation.

Republic of Ireland petrol asking prices. Exact-year searches; no target-mileage filter. Prices rounded to €50 and median mileage to 1,000 km. Middle 50% means the lower-to-upper quartile, not the cheapest-to-dearest range. Different trims, bodies and mileages may be mixed.

Price the sporting look separately

A sporty-looking trim can be appealing, but decide what that equipment is worth to you. Do not use a particularly well-specified advert as the direct benchmark for every Ibiza. Read the actual engine description and maintenance records before attaching a premium to the appearance.

What changes between the selected years?

The 2022 median is €6,000 higher than the 2018 median in this snapshot. Their typical advertised mileages are approximately 56,000 km and 118,000 km respectively. That is a comparison of different cars advertised today. It is not a depreciation measurement, an upgrade quote or proof that the year alone creates the price gap. The middle-price bands for those two groups do not overlap in this sample, but the full sets of adverts can still contain exceptions.

How wide is the price spread?

Within the 2018 group, the middle half of asking prices runs from €10,350 to €11,950. That is a spread of about €1,600 before considering the highest and lowest quarter of adverts. The average uses every eligible price; the median is the middle observation and is less sensitive to a few unusually expensive cars. Neither measure adjusts this table to your mileage or exact specification.

Keep the viewing grounded

Try the driving position, check rear-seat access and inspect everyday wear. Compare the cash asking price plus any identified preparation with your other shortlist cars. Sellers can make that exercise easier by providing specific equipment details and clear photographs, giving buyers a reason to enquire beyond a polished headline.

What is actually in the sample?

2018: 8 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 8 petrol; seller labels: 6 private, 2 dealer. Fewer than ten adverts makes this group especially sensitive to individual cars.

2020: 7 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 7 petrol; seller labels: 4 private, 3 dealer. Fewer than ten adverts makes this group especially sensitive to individual cars.

2022: 7 eligible adverts; fuel labels: 7 petrol; seller labels: 7 dealer. Fewer than ten adverts makes this group especially sensitive to individual cars.

How we collected the figures

We fetched every available results page for each selected year and removed duplicate adverts, listings outside the Republic, missing or implausible price/mileage entries, and obvious parts, wanted or non-running adverts. This is an unweighted snapshot of eligible asking prices, with dealer and private adverts retained. Adverts and search filters can contain mistakes; the source links let you check what is available now.
